The Raco 8189 is a 4-inch square, 1-1/2 inch deep welded outlet box designed for use in branch circuit wiring and device mounting. Constructed from 1/16" (1.6 mm) pre-galvanized steel, this box is intended for use in commercial and industrial environments where surface-mounted or concealed box installations are required. Welded corners ensure structural integrity for mounting receptacles, switches, or for use as a junction box.

This box includes multiple knockouts and supports a volume capacity of 21.0 cubic inches, accommodating conductor fill requirements per NEC Article 314. The TKO (true knockouts) provide installer flexibility for either 1/2" or 3/4" conduit fittings without the need for additional adapters.

Verify conductor fill against NEC Table 314.16(A) based on wire gauge and device configuration.
