IPS AB&A 63608 Tile Shower Drain – 2" or 3" Solvent Weld, PVC

The IPS AB&A 63608 is a tile shower drain designed for use in residential or light commercial tile floor shower installations. Manufactured from PVC and suitable for both 2" and 3" solvent-weld connections, this unit includes a clamping collar and integral test plug to facilitate code-compliant installations and pre-occupancy DWV testing.

The drain is designed for integration with shower pan liners beneath tile systems and meets applicable ASME and CSA performance standards for plumbing waste fittings.

Installation Notes

Designed for use with tile shower bases incorporating flexible shower pan liners. Proper alignment of the clamping flange is required to ensure sealing around the membrane. Use primer and cement for solvent-weld joints per local plumbing code. The integral test plug may be removed after inspection.

Grates are interchangeable depending on finish and installation requirements. Installers should verify compatibility with site-specific slope and pan configurations prior to rough-in.
