This 1" Push-Fit x Female Iron Pipe (FIP) adapter is engineered for fast, secure transitions from copper, CPVC, or PEX tubing to threaded pipe systems. The fitting is constructed from lead-free brass and certified for use in potable water applications under applicable plumbing codes.

Installation Considerations

This adapter can be installed without soldering, crimping, or gluing. Pipe ends must be clean, round, and cut square. Insert copper, CPVC, or PEX tubing into the push-fit end until it seats fully against the internal stop. Apply thread sealant or PTFE tape to the male pipe thread prior to engaging the FIP end to ensure a watertight seal. Removal and reuse is possible using an appropriate disconnect tool.
