Installation Considerations

Use a primer and solvent cement suitable for PVC to connect the socket end. For the threaded end, apply PTFE tape or a compatible thread sealant to ensure a pressure-tight seal. PVC male adapters should not be used for hot water systems or for pressurized air/gas lines.
