The 1" Clearloc Push Fit Coupling by Legend Valve is a push-to-connect fitting engineered for joining 1" CTS copper, CPVC, or PEX tubing in potable water distribution systems. This coupling enables fast, tool-free installation and is designed to maintain mechanical integrity under standard system pressures and thermal fluctuations.

Manufactured from lead-free brass and compliant with NSF/ANSI 61 and 372, the Clearloc coupling is certified for use in drinking water applications and suitable for both new construction and retrofit plumbing installations. It provides an internal gripping mechanism and O-ring seal to create a leak-resistant joint without the need for solder, clamps, or solvent cement.

Installation Considerations

Before installation, tubing must be cut square, deburred, and cleaned of debris. Insertion depth should be marked using a depth gauge to ensure full engagement. Once inserted, the pipe must be fully seated against the internal stop. For disassembly, use the release tool recommended by the manufacturer. Installation behind walls or in inaccessible areas is allowed when local code permits and where the fitting is certified for concealed use.
