The 1-1/4" PVC Schedule 40 cap is a solvent weld fitting used to close the end of a piping run in both pressure and non-pressure systems. Manufactured from rigid polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and designed for compatibility with Schedule 40 PVC pipe, this fitting is commonly used in water distribution, irrigation, and DWV (Drain-Waste-Vent) systems. Its socket end allows for permanent bonding using approved PVC solvent cement.

Installation Guidelines

Insert pipe to full socket depth and allow for set and cure time as specified by the cement manufacturer. Not for use with threaded connections or hot water service unless specifically listed for that purpose.
